About me: I earned by Bachelors of Science and Masters in Education from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. In 2001 I became a science teacher at one of the top high schools in Michigan. I have taught advanced Chemistry courses (Honors and Higher Level IB) to some of the best and brightest students in the state, many who aspire to be physicians and engineers. Throughout the years I have found many students having a difficult time planning their future in an ever changing and increasingly complex college and career landscape. As a result, I have found it quite rewarding to help them plan their next steps after high school .
Additionally, I am a parent of two sons who attended (or still attend) University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. So I recently went through this process as a parent firsthand. I have one son who was pre-med and understand what was involved as he applied to medical schools.
Professionally, I attend conferences to stay up-to date on the current college admissions landscape, and have a NACAC (National Association of College Admissions Consultants) professional certificate.
